HELLO + WELCOME// I am a Toronto/Tkaronto based movement teacher with 15+ years experience. I specialize in working 1:1 with clients to help them find an approach to movement that is enjoyable, supportive and empowering. My approach integrates movement practices from pilates, strength training, yoga, functional movement and mindfulness, depending on the needs and interests of my clients. I work both virtually and in person.
With a B.Sc. in psychology and an M.A. in spiritual care and psychotherapy, I am passionate about teaching in a way that addresses the whole person- body, mind and spirit. I aim to provide instruction that is dynamic, inclusive, practical, and sensitive, with a focus on tailoring practices to your unique needs and circumstances. I strive to take an approach that is trauma aware, anti-oppression based, LBTQ2S+ positive space and also HAES aligned (Health at Every Size). I also live with a chronic pain condition and am deeply committed to teaching movement that is accessible for a variety of bodies and abilities.

My teaching is eclectic and I have trainings in yoga (hatha, restorative, vinyasa), mat pilates, functional movement, strength training, movement for trauma, body politics, fascial stretch therapy, Ayurveda, somatics and mindfulness based stress reduction. I am continually curious about finding ways of moving and being in our bodies that draw us into deeper connection with our selves and the world around us. I believe in movement as a powerful practice for healing, strength and joy.
